Guest guest
What we often do, a pattern we fall into, is using the many delicious frozen veggie items to microwave quick meals when we don't feel like actually cooking. From chik patties to grillers to veggie lasagna and burritos, there is a wide range of tastes and foods available that require only a bit of heating in a microwave. While not ideal, they work. Another trick we learned is to make extra pasta, which can then be mixed with, say, a garlic- & -basil pesto sauce for a very quick, very yummy meal, served cold or hot. Did you know that since 1967, forests have been destroyed at the rate of 1 acre every 5 seconds to create grazing land for beef cattle to ensure a continuous supply of inexpensive meat for our fast food restaurants? By choosing to cook at home and making your family delicious, healthy vegan or vegetarian meals you are taking a postive step, not just for yourself, but for the whole planet. Bravo! ~ PT ~ The world is composed of givers and takers. The takers may think they eat better, but the givers really do and they sleep better.
