Guest guest
Hi, My plans for the weekend: 1) Spray fungicide on roses (about 41 of them) (well I'm not going to spray the Lady Banks. They don't really need it.) 2) Feed perennials (Haven't counted lately, maybe around 200) 3) Prune hedges in front yard (maybe 30 or 40 feet long. Need to prune one side (did the front side last weekend) and bring the top down a foot or two) 4) Clean house due to sister's family visiting next weekend 5) Balance checkbook 6) Keep an eye on evil neighbor who has been killing birds (Either bored/stupid/or both) Sounds like an exciting weekend, huh? There's a festival/fair of sorts (San Ramon Art and Wind Festival) this weekend also. It's only ten minutes away but depends upon completing the above-noted tasks and our desire to deal with the crowd and parking. They have some interesting craft booths though. Went to the new Farmers Market at the Ferry Building in San Francisco last Saturday. Actually took the ferry from Oakland over there. It was a pretty good farmers market, IMHO, although it was a bit crowded. Maybe I'll try to cook up something interesting this weekend. We shall see. Predictions are for a rather warm weekend, I believe. Have fun! Gary
Guest guest
Your weekend plans sound fun to me, Gary. Aside from the Boatnik stuff, we are going to do some yard work as well. I need a few more raised beds put in and to decide once and for all if I rid one of the boxes I have of the strawberry plants. My roses are going great guns! It is so nice to have fresh bouquets around the house. Enjoy your weekend! ~ PT ~ One of the advantages of being disorderly is that one is constantly making exciting discoveries. ~A. A.
