Perhaps I say specifically that I am atheist because it stops most people from trying to convert me. If I say I am agnostic, they call that fence sitting, and it is a subject position I find uncomfortable - as well as laying me open to a friendly push from both sides *LOL* But as you see, it still attracts some argument ;=) I was only adding to your list of 'foibles' in a friendly way - not trying to start a religious debate but merely intending to point out, along with you (as far as I recall your post now) that 'eccentric' behaviour and ways of thinking are not easily tolerated and that vegetarianism is only a small part of what is rejected and criticized. That's all ;=) Best, Pat -- SANTBROWN townhounds/ http://www.angelfire.com/art/pendragon/ ---------- * " Until he extends the circle of compassion to all living things, man will not himself find peace.
