Nope: It was communicated clearly and repeatedly and continues to be scoffed at and hostily ignored. This actually happened to my wife, who was there visiting, having driving up for 8 hours from a school she was being forced to attend, just to see them. Yes, she ought to have eaten beforehand but was with them the whole time when the idea of going out to dinner was broached. Would've been awkward to say, " Okay, let me go eat first, " and besides, she had no idea they'd take her to such a place, figuring they'd at least go Italian for her. But no, the sick twisted needs of the MAN involved came paramount, as always in this sexist culture. > They might get some smug > satifaction watching you " suffer with salad' whilst they > gorge upon some flesh, but you will knowingly be having > more fun. That or just leave. Or never bother with them again, frankly, is my solution. There are too many good people and fun times to waste the little time we have on the likes of them. > > " Advances are made by answering questions. Discoveries are made by > questioning answers.
