Hi, my name is Attilio D'Alberto. I've been a semi vegetarian with the exclusion

of all meat, but fish is still consumed as defined by the British Nutrition

Foundation for 11 years. I'm a undergraduate studying Traditional Chinese

Medicine (TCM) at Middlesex and Beijing Universities. My interests include

reading, writing and travelling. I have various articles published at The Pulse

of Oriental Medicine, TCM Central.com, TCM Student.com, The Standing Post.com, A

World of Acupuncture.com and at The Web Journal of Acupuncture. I also run my

own website Chinesedoctor.co.uk and a TCM :

Chinese Traditional Medicine/.

Hello Attilio.

Some might call what you are a pescitarian.

[or is that pescatarian?] Anyway, you are welcome

here at the feral list. Your studies sound very interesting.

My Grams has even used acupuncture therapies before

and she benefited from it. I am glad treatments like that

are gaining more acceptance in the medical community

as well as being options for people in their insurance

policies.

cure for it is occupation.

Thank you for your kind words. Yes i've heard of that category,

pescitarian. Please let me state here that i became a vegetarian as

i don't believe that any animal should die on my behalf and that i

will not use any animal products when i use Chinese medicine.

Chinese medicine uses nutrition alot in their treatment plans.

Different ingredients have different energies, Yin and Yang and can

be used for deficiency or excess. There's a good web site that

illustrates all of these, i'll send it soon as the web site is being

updated. Also i've posted a new link called dietsure.com which

allows you to analyse you diet over a period of time. Its very good

and helpful as us veggies need to be aware of our diets as we often

lack in important nutrients like b12.

Ciao
