Guest guest
good stuff: 1 package of veggie ground round 1 slice of toasted bread, crumbled-- or equivalent in bread crumbs 2 tsp NRG egg replacer 1 chopped green pepper 1 small onion, chopped 1/4 cup soy milk 1 pkg onion soup mix your choice of seasonings: i like parsley flakes, oregano, and other green, leafy-type spices ketchup mix everything together except the ketchup. put it all in a nonstick loaf pan. cover the top with ketchup. bake for about 30 minutes at 350 degrees. it needs to cool before you slice it, so that it settles some. it's not made with veat, but i won't tell if you won't. http://www.melodysmusic.net
Guest guest
This sounds great. Thanks a bunch, I just placed it into our files. In the 'Main Dishes II' folder I created another sub-folder for any of our tried and true UnMeatLoaf recipes. I hope more folks will share their favorites with us. I am definately going to have to try this one soon. BTW, did you use Yves veggie ground or another brand in this? Last time I saw it in the store, it appeared their package shrunk! I know some products do " downsize " without notice. I was just wondering if anyone else had seen this or noticed it as well? It used to be the equivelant to a pound and a half of ground meat, now I think it is much less... maybe just one pound now. ~ feral ~ Of course, it's possible to love a human being -- if you don't know them too well. ~Charles Bukowski, writer (1920-1994) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~> , Nadiana1@a... wrote: > good stuff: > > 1 package of veggie ground round > 1 slice of toasted bread, crumbled-- or equivalent in bread crumbs > 2 tsp NRG egg replacer > 1 chopped green pepper > 1 small onion, chopped > 1/4 cup soy milk > 1 pkg onion soup mix > your choice of seasonings: i like parsley flakes, oregano, and other green, > leafy-type spices > ketchup > > mix everything together except the ketchup. put it all in a nonstick loaf > pan. cover the top with ketchup. bake for about 30 minutes at 350 > degrees. it needs to cool before you slice it, so that it settles some. > > it's not made with veat, but i won't tell if you won't. > > > http://www.melodysmusic.net > > >
