Guest guest
Yes! Back in the 80s I was living in Hawaii and worked at a JCPenney for a few months. Up in the housewares dept they were selling the Donvier, and they played the VHS promo video over and over and over. It was out of my price range but I always wanted one. Thanks for the review of yours, Pixx. I have wonderd about them and how they hold up to use over time. I definately want to get one for this summer. I think the kids and I will have fun making our own frozen treats. ~ PT ~ ~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~~~~~~~~> , " Pixx " <lists@p...> wrote: > I have a Donvier........both a half gallon and a pint > size........unfortunately the pint size is no longer being made. :~( > I have had mine since some time in the 80's. > > When I was a child, we had the kind that you use salt with........I > would never want to go that route after having my Donvier. > > For those of you not familiar witht this product, here is their link: > http://www.donvier.com/products/icecream.html > and *no* I don't make a dime off of them~ I am just that impressed > with their product!! > > Hey, PT~ when you get a maker I have a recipe book. Guest guest
it is wonderfull !! and as long as it is never exposed to heat, it appears to last forever! :~) I droped my pint size, and dented the chamber up pretty badly a few years ago, and was looking to replace it....but, alas, they no longer make them, but mine still works fine! I use the pint one a lot more than the half gallon these days....the children are grown, and I just cant eat it all !! ~Pixx On 1 May 2003 at 15:09, ~ P_T ~ wrote: > I have wonderd > about them and how they hold up to use over time.
