icecream makers, was: free ice-cream/What's your fave flavor?

I have a Donvier........both a half gallon and a pint

size........unfortunately the pint size is no longer being made. :~(

I have had mine since some time in the 80's.

 

When I was a child, we had the kind that you use salt with........I

would never want to go that route after having my Donvier.

Hey, PT~ when you get a maker I have a recipe book. It was

written for the Donvier, but I am quite certain they can be used in

any maker. I'll post recipes from it if ya want. [anybody

interested?]

 

I have always liked mint chocolate chip [but only the kind with

flakes, not chuncks, of chocolate] and butter pecan. But I only

rarely give in to dairy based ice cream the past few years, as it

makes me sick now. I use fruit juices or even soda in my Donvier,

for a sorbet or slushie.
