Just for your information, did you know that WHEY is a by-product of the

soybean when you make milk??

So I think you are confusing the issue.

I am sure that is ok.

And if not contact the company and ask them if is animal bi-product and then it

will put your mind to ease and then you can post to the group.

I have done that in the past and they have very gracious to answer my question

The Veat I just bought is NOT Vegan

Maybe our versions of VEAT are different??

Here are the ingredients on the " VEAT Vegetarian Breast " -- as taken from my

refrigerator (where it will be put back until a non Vegan friend comes over

for dinner)....

Ingredients: Texturized Vegetable Protein (Soy Protein, Wheat Protein,

Starch, Water), Vegetable Oil (Expeller Pressed), Whey Protein, Wheat

Protein, Unrefined Evaporated Cane Juice, Spices, Yeast, Sea Salt.

The Whey Protein is the one item that makes this product Vegetarian, NOT

VEGAN... Darn it!

Peace,

Susan

Veat is Vegan

We looked.

Veat is vegan. No cassein or anything of the sort.

who ever said it was either hadn't checked labels or relied too much on

some unchecked report.
