Guest guest
Sick of them? No way! These are great. I am going to make a special folder to put them all into the file's section here. Thank you for sharing. I am having fun reading the recipes whilst I sip my tea. :::mug salute::: ~ PT ~ ~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~~~~~> , " Lady Sappho " < ladysappho@a...> wrote: > Are you getting sick of these yet? *laugh*
Guest guest
*grin* Glad you are enjoying them. I have focussed on things which could be sold at a faire without too much difficulty, but later I might do some more which are more table food, if you follow. I do have to warn that none of the ones I have posted have been tried and trues by me, but many of them come from reliable sources. I certainly encourage people to try them! I am a great advocate of medieval cooking, as you might have gathered. For now, though, I think I am done. Lee-Gwen

I will post some more in the next few days - anything to demolish various myths about medieval cooking (mostly that it is bland and boring, inedible to modern palates, it is all " stews and roasts " , or that they used spices to cover up rotten meat). Some of the recipes in particularly The Medieval Kitchen, I can so picture in an upmarket bistro. Lee-Gwen
