Medieval Recipes - sick of them?

Sick of them? No way! These are great. I am going to make

a special folder to put them all into the file's

section here. Thank you for sharing.

I am having fun reading the recipes whilst I

sip my tea. :)

*grin* Glad you are enjoying them. I have focussed on things which could be

sold at a faire without too much difficulty, but later I might do some more

which are more table food, if you follow. I do have to warn that none of

the ones I have posted have been tried and trues by me, but many of them

come from reliable sources. I certainly encourage people to try them! I am

a great advocate of medieval cooking, as you might have gathered. For now,

though, I think I am done.

These are the coolest recipes!! I think i may try some, they sound yummy to me!

*grin* Just what I love to hear! I will post some more in the next few

days - anything to demolish various myths about medieval cooking (mostly

that it is bland and boring, inedible to modern palates, it is all " stews

and roasts " , or that they used spices to cover up rotten meat). Some of the

recipes in particularly The Medieval Kitchen, I can so picture in an

upmarket bistro.
