Guest guest
Hello, I have just received an invite and joined recently as well. I have been a vegetarian all my life with only a few unpleasant experiences, like mentioned in a previous post, with what eating meat can do in wrecking havoc with my body. That experience was at the age of twelve and I have never looked back. I was raised in a health food store and am familiar with many of the alternative health practices. Even with all of that, I ended up with some inexplicable health issues and gallbladder liver problems a couple of years ago that with my own research (my doctor only helped to make the health problems worse) and cleansing has convinced me that pasteurized dairy was a major culprit. For the past 18 months I have been transitioning to a living food diet and limiting my dairy to raw goat or sheep milk products (rennetless of course). So far that kind of raw dairy doesn't seem to cause me any problems. I am in my mid 30's now and since I have made these changes in what many thought was " healthy " diet...I have lost in that time nearly 40 pounds...and many people say about 10 years. I firmly believe in the living food diet and am glad to see that someone else on this list who also follows this diet. Welcome! Many Blessings, Christa Hello all I just wanted to say thank you for the invite to join. Its wonderful that we have groups such as these to help each other learn more about our lifestyles and such. A note about myself: I live in Virginia and I'm a 100% raw foodist (don't like to give myself a label but just to explain) ;-) I eat only raw living foods such as lots of greens, fruits, veggies, etc..
