Guest guest Posted April 22, 2003 Report Share Posted April 22, 2003 unfortunately, veat products are vegetarian but NOT vegan; they contain either whey or casein; i forget which. these are milk proteins. it's a shame, because i think it's a great-tasting product. the hardest foods for me to quit eating were REAL cheese (vegan cheese just isn't up to par), especially feta cheese and pizza. i also had a very hard time giving up dim sum, although every time i visit my family in new york i run to the vegetarian dim sum house in chinatown to get my fix. surprisingly, there's no veggie dim sum to be found in los angeles! the easiest thing for me to give up was red meat; i saw a slaughterhouse and that pretty much did it for me. http://www.melodysmusic.net Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
