Guest guest
Hi! Thanks for inviting me to this group! I had to go look up the word " feral " before I joined tho - as it sounded rather vicious and I'm rather a peaceful girl. I like the definition I found.... feral: having escaped from domestication and become wild. Sounds like fun! I'm Ronda from Oregon. I was l/o vegetarian for years and then backslid into unhealthy habits until recently when I went on the " Eat to Live " plan which in effect has me eating a strict Vegan diet for 6 weeks. I'll evaluate when I'm done whether I need or want to go back to dairy when I'm done. Here's my favorite Red-Pepper Hummus recipe that I eat almost every day: 2 cloves minced garlic 1 can chickpeas (garbanzo beans) drained 1/3 cup tahini 1/3 cup lemon juice 1/2 cup roasted red peppers 1/4 tsp dried basil Combine garlic, chickpeas, tahini and lemon juice in food processor. Process until smooth. Add peppers and basil, process until the peppers are finely chopped. Season with salt and pepper, cover and chill. Hugs, Ronda The New Search - Faster. Easier. Bingo.
