This sounds so delicious! Thanks Pat.

I also make my own pasta sauce and keep it stored in

mason jars in the freezer. It is a lifesaver for days

when I have little time to cook and it tastes so much

better than store-bought brands.

 

I bet it feels good to have the tax stuff done. :)

In the late summer I buy tomatoes from the farmers' market by the

basketful and make the sauce from scratch rather than using canned

tomatoes, then freeze. For a quick fix, however, good canned tomatoes

are great.
