Guest guest
This sounds so delicious! Thanks Pat. I also make my own pasta sauce and keep it stored in mason jars in the freezer. It is a lifesaver for days when I have little time to cook and it tastes so much better than store-bought brands. I bet it feels good to have the tax stuff done. ~ PT ~ Not to arrive at a clear understanding of one's own values is a tragic waste.Ê You have missed the whole point of what life is for. ~ Anna Eleanor Roosevelt (1884-1962) ~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~~~~~~~~~> , Sant & Brown <santbrown@l...> wrote: > Didn't download the Digest last evening, so here's what we had - as > close as I recall this morning ;=) > > This is a what-do-we-have-in-the-fridge kind of meal - other veg. could > be substituted. Guest guest
In the late summer I buy tomatoes from the farmers' market by the basketful and make the sauce from scratch rather than using canned tomatoes, then freeze. For a quick fix, however, good canned tomatoes are great. best, pat in canada > I also make my own pasta sauce and keep it stored in > mason jars in the freezer.
