But I don't use one either. I take it from your question that they leach iron?? I take it > from your question that they leach iron?? > The idea is that cooking in cast iron is a good source of iron (and since iron is good for you, as opposed to aluminum, which is what this thread was about originally, well, that's good. Avoid, of course, cooking acidic fruits/veg in cast-iron skillets - skip it for the tomato pasta sauce or for the Thai stir-fried veg with limejuice ;=) It wasn't meant as a hassle - I was just curious to know if you had strong feelings against using one and what your reason might be.
