Guest guest
this is a dressing my grandmother used for her fruit salad...it's so good. her fruit salad usually consisted of apples, bananas, mandrian oranges, grapes, pineapple, strawberries, and marachino cherries. she would serve whipped cream and pecans on the side and let everyone top their own fruit salad. sweet dressing 1/2 cup sugar 1 T. flour 1/2 c. milk 1 T. butter 1 tsp. vanilla mix sugar and flour; add milk. cook, stirring often, over medium-low heat until thickened. add butter and vanilla. poor over fruit; mix and chill.
