Avoidance of aluminum isn't a big deal either way and if it makes you feel

somehow " safer " then why not?

You're right. In this instance the scare tactics and wild rumors don't

require much extreme behavior of us, if avoiding aluminum is the only

thing. My mother-in-law is big into this, too.

By the way, they do make very nice aluminum pans you wash and reuse, so we'

re not just talking about the disposable kinds. Also, disposable aluminum

is one of the most easily recycled and so actually helps the environment

where recycling is practiced.

Aluminum isn't a toxin, it's just a mineral, a metal. Heavy metals are

far more dangerous, but as I say, if you wish to avoid aluminum there is

no reason not to. It's just that I don't think there is any reason to do

so, either.

Me? I avoid cotton candy.
