In this instance the scare tactics and wild rumors don't require much extreme behavior of us, if avoiding aluminum is the only thing. My mother-in-law is big into this, too. By the way, they do make very nice aluminum pans you wash and reuse, so we' re not just talking about the disposable kinds. Also, disposable aluminum is one of the most easily recycled and so actually helps the environment where recycling is practiced. Aluminum isn't a toxin, it's just a mineral, a metal. Heavy metals are far more dangerous, but as I say, if you wish to avoid aluminum there is no reason not to. It's just that I don't think there is any reason to do so, either. Me?
