Guest guest Posted March 13, 2003 Report Share Posted March 13, 2003 Hi, There is actually starting to be more evidence that low fat cows milks do more damage to your bones than full-fat milk. This is because the fat content is reduced, the proportional protein content is increased, and it is this excess protein that is a major cause of osteoporosis. If you must drink cows milk, I would *strongly* recommend you supplement your diet with a daily calcium tablet / chew, to counteract the calcium-leaching effects of the milk you're drinking.
