Guest guest
Hello, I'd love to connect with others who are gluten-intolerant or have celiac disease. Say hello! Rylee
Guest guest
Hi Rylee, I have quite a few allergies (and am celiac). Corn, soy, gluten, dairy, eggs, tomatoes, strawberries, cranberries, blueberries, peppers, eggplant, pineapple, and more are all on my off limits list. I've actually had a much easier time as a raw vegan than when I was trying a whole food cooked diet. Veganism cuts out the animal products I'm allergic to (and the more I read about them, the less I was interested in eating them), and raw veganism really minimizes grain consumption. We have a small support group in Seattle for people with chronic illnesses. Please let me know if you are interested in information on the group (many of us have a list of allergies and share recipes and food ideas). I also have some information/recipes on my blog. The longer I've been raw vegan, the more celiac becomes a non-issue. I really don't think about it much anymore. Hope this helps, Cami
