Guest guest
Just got back from dentist and discovered I have 5 cavities in the beginning stages! Three are along gum line (beneath bonding done yrs. ago to relieve sensitivity)and two are on tongue side of molars in grooves. This is startling to me as I haven't had a cavity for yrs., there was almost no plaque according to my hygienist, and I brush 2x daily, floss and use a water pik 1 to 2 times a day. I did start using Uncle Harry's tooth pwdr. for sensitive teeth a year ago and it has helped alot w/my sensitivity (whereas use of Sensodyne toothpaste for 20 yrs. did nothing). I also had mercury fillings removed last summer. Anyway, this would cost a bundle to have filled so I started to do some research. It appears that the teeth can be remineralized (with the right tooth pwdr. and diet) and decay can heal on own. Also, I heard about ozone being applied which helps some. Still doing my research hoping I can cancel my appts for fillings soon. This takes forever for someone w/little access to a computer for now. My diet consists of a lot of raw, some cooked grns., brn. rice, quinoa. I am increasing the greens in my vita-mix and juicer and reducing the fruit. Greens high in calcium can build teeth up. Any advice out there? Does oil-pulling help w/decay? Has anyone been successful in healing their decay? Thanks so much, Suzanne
