Guest guest
Re: 99 Ranch Market in Edmonds (or is it Ranch 99?) I stopped in at this Asian market today, which claims it is the biggest Asian market chain in the country. They had a big produce section, with absolutely no organic produce, but they did have durian for $1.19 a pound. I paid a little over $5 for one durian, which I promptly ate when I got home. It was good! I also bought a maridol papaya and a cantaloupe, both for 69 cents a pound, which is considerably cheaper than what those foods are currently selling for at Whole Foods, PCC and Central Market. Earlier in the day I paid $1.50/lb for maridol papayas at Whole Foods. Central Market was selling them for $2.50/lb. Mark
