Periodically, a patient's raw- food diet has been the culprit. During one such episode, the doctor muses that if God wanted human beings to eat this way, He would've prevented the discovery of fire. While most Americans chow down on animals and plants that they steam, stew, poach, fry, saute, grill, bake, boil, broil, toast or roast, some eschew those methods as destructive to the inherent blessing of nuts, seeds, fruits and vegetables.
