Artist, chef combine careers in new pursuit

Aimee and Denny Perrin believe illness can be a gift.

 

" It steers us in a different life direction, " says Denny, " and causes

us to take charge of our health. "

 

This philosophy is what drew the couple together some 30 years ago. In

fact, the Louisiana natives became acquainted at a health food store,

which Denny co-owned. Aimee would frequent the store as a customer

searching for healthy products she could add to her lifestyle to quell

the difficult symptoms and side effects of type 1 diabetes.

 

Today, the husband and wife are still very focused on health and

wellness. They work together as a team running Aimee's Livin' Magic, a

small, privately owned company dedicated to making raw, organic foods.

The business is based out of the couple's home on Cider Hill Road and

includes a store, a professional kitchen and an art gallery featuring

Denny's paintings.
