Guest guest
Nora, all Natures Pantry has been in Bellevue for some 35 years. The U Bookstore owns the building they are in and has " raised the rent " and that is forcing Natures Pantry out. I believe The owners of Natures Pantry wish to retire rather than start all over again. If I have any of this incorrect I appologize, but that is what I have grasped. It is certainly a large loss for us on the Eastside and I for one am heartbroken and a little freaked out. So if you have any means please support Adam and the others in thier endeavor. Catherine - This is sad news, Adam. I was wondering how they were faring in this environment, and was hoping their placement near the U Bookstore would ensure survival. Best of luck on your new endeavor. Please keep us posted. Nora ------------- > Hi everyone, Adam Lewis here. I am the creator and owner of House of the > Sun Raw Foods. Guest guest
Hi again, Catherine is correct. Â The bookstore raised the rent to 38 a sq. ft. With all the new buildings going up and the local, bellevue economy doing alright they thought they could get the extra money and they were right. Â It was on the market for about 3 months. Â Word is a pizza joint is going in? Â Anyway I'm looking at this as a blessing. Â Sometimes we need a little push to get going. Â Â Peace and Love to you all.
