Nora, all

Natures Pantry has been in Bellevue for some 35 years. The U Bookstore owns

the building they are in and has " raised the rent " and that is forcing Natures

Pantry out. I believe The owners of Natures Pantry wish to retire rather than

start all over again.

If I have any of this incorrect I appologize, but that is what I have grasped.

It is certainly a large loss for us on the Eastside and I for one am heartbroken

and a little freaked out. So if you have any means please support Adam and the

others in thier endeavor.

This is sad news, Adam. I was wondering how they were faring in this

environment, and was hoping their placement near the U Bookstore would

ensure survival.

Best of luck on your new endeavor. Please keep us posted.

Hi again, Catherine is correct.  The bookstore raised the rent to 38 a sq. ft.

With all the new buildings going up and the local, bellevue economy doing

alright they thought they could get the extra money and they were right.  It

was on the market for about 3 months.  Word is a pizza joint is going in?

Anyway I'm looking at this as a blessing.  Sometimes we need a little push to

get going.  :)  Peace and Love to you all.   Adam
