Maybe their raw-food diet has something to do with it. The raw-food diet is based on the idea that to get the maximum nutritional value and " life force " out of the food we eat, it has to be uncooked (or at least cooked below 116 degrees Fahrenheit). The strict rules of the diet mean dinner could be seaweed, fruit and nuts. It may sound unappetizing, but many profess love for the diet's health benefits, such as younger-looking skin and improved digestion.
