William Harris, MD (raw foodist)

I thought some of you may be interested in an update on William

Harris, an honorary member of the raw community in Seattle (he stopped

by a potluck at the Raw House (now " Raw Boys House " ) several years

ago). He is 78 years old and the director of the Vegetarian Society of

Hawaii. The previous director, Ruth Heidrich, PhD (who was director

when I was living in Hawaii and a member of VSH), is also a raw

foodist and influenced Dr. Harris to go raw. VSH, while not a raw

organization, includes raw speakers occasionally, and is believed to

be the largest vegetarian organization in the country!
