Guest guest
Paula I do not know Joyce or the community you ask about.? Does anyone else know of this? I tried a technique suggested in Book Two? The Ringing Cedars of Russia and then read some more of the book. She (Anastasia) says " Let (them) gather for the meal.? Those who live at home and those from far away.? Let the meal be prepared from what the Earth has borne for this hour.? Let every one bring to the whole table whatever is desired by their heart and soul.? Let everyone look at each other lovingly in the eye.? And let the eldest and the youngest bless the table together.? And let the table all around with quiet conversation resound.? There should be good words spoken.? About all those who beside you. " To abide by this philosophy when asked " I noticed you are not eating the meat are you vegetarian? " ? I hope to rehearse and say, " Thank you for noticing you are aware and observant.? Let's talk about philosophy, politics and religion but not right now.? Laughter and loving words are best for digestion and I believe we all know what is best for us to consume for the most laughter and love. " If they persist or insist on an answer I hope to say, " Love is what guides my choices in life - love for the Earth,? love for all human beings and love for nature including a love for plants and a love of animals. " Perhaps this will make me more pleasant to be around, give me better digestion and make my example more effective. Of course these answers may not prevent some from getting angry or misbehaving so in that case I will have to excuse myself and leave the table.? I do not have a technique like Anastasia has to protect myself from others anger (other then creating more distance). To everyone else:? I am almost through Book 3 myself.? It's an interesting way you describe Anastasia ... I would describe her as a true child of God, untouched by everything that has taken the rest of us
