Guest guest
Hmmm...this is interesting. I've never heard anything about this. I just know that young thai baby coconuts are not that healthy and I stopped eating them years ago. They are too high in sugar. If I were you I would spend extra money and order organic coconuts. Then your problem is solved. I actually just use artisana coconut butter now in everything, and not coconuts anymore! I know it may seem at first to be hard to give them up, but trust me, I don't miss them at all! Maybe you can post in some raw forums to find the answer to your question. -Corin www.thenewlifefoods.net , " heatherann916 " <heatherann916 wrote: > > Is there anyone out there aware if there is any truth to the rumour > that young coconuts are NOT vegan, due to how they are harvested?? >
Guest guest
Speaking of using Artisana Brand Organic (TRULY raw) Coconut Butter. I had a massive brain-stem stroke just over six years ago and I have what a friend nick-named a " brain-meter " as I can tell the positive, neutral, or negative impact food or drink has on me. Usually fresh is best, but I feel a neutral effect with coconuts where as with the Artisana Coconut Butter I have a strong positive effect! Don't kid yourself, ANY food or drink needs to be ORGANIC!
