Guest guest
That sounds like a non-profit group, I learned about many years ago, that would go into schools and train the students, parents, cafeteria staff, and teachers about whole foods preparation. It was incorporated into the school and, similar to the article, there was a decrease in conflicts and detentions, and an increase in grades. Guest guest
I remember John Robbins talking about the New York school system did that - for a while. Sugar, artificial colorings and artificial flavorings were all removed from the schools lunch menus. They could not, however, maintain the menus without help from the government and thus were " forced " to go back to the meat and cheese being " freely " given to them. The outcome of the short time they ate well, was that absences went down, incidences of violence went down and the grade point went up. Even with a professional in tow showing how the school district could meet all the daily requirements, a local school district flat out refused even one day of no meat. Heaven forbid take away the sugar and flavorings. I know because I was the one towing the professional. Shari
