Guest guest
Ooh, no you don't need recipes for Norm's kelp. It's tasty all by its little ol' self. Never have even thought of using a recipe for kelp when it tastes as good as his did. Shari
Guest guest
Hi all, John and I harvested some kelp on the west coast last summer and Norm helped me a bit via email with that. There's an asian woman at work who harvests the stuff anywhere she can find it! (I don't trust the Puget Sound region for edible food.) Anyway, she told me to soak and rinse thorougly...so I did. Then I dehydrated it gently. Now, I have a nice collection of the chewy stuff and haven't decided what to do with it! I think it would have been fun to cut it into ribbons before dehydrating, for kelp noodles. Oh well. Too late. Any other ideas? -- Wishing you peace, blessings, love and harmony Linda Crutcher P.S. There's a monthly raw food potluck on Vashon this coming Sunday. Anybody interested?
