Guest guest
Hi All, I'm taking advance orders for more of the same macadamia nuts that I sold last year. I'm not going to put them on the website (www.RawTreasure.com) because the supply is very limited. These are organically grown on a very small farm in S. California, hand-harvested, sun-cured and hand-shelled. They will be shelled in the next week and will be available for sale after February 25. They will be double bagged and kept in constant refrigeration to preserve freshness. Macadamia nuts can be stored for up to a year with no depreciation of taste or nutrition, if refrigerated. These nuts are really outstanding, fresh, creamy, sweet and overall far superior to what is sold in the stores. Stores do not recognize how perishable nuts are when not refrigerated. Or maybe they do, and they're just not willing to devote refrigerated space to a product that can be sold without it. Whole Foods sells conventional macadamia nuts for $16/lb from an open bin at room temperature. At that price, I can't imagine they turn over too fast so we can only conclude that the nuts sit for a good long time before selling. The price is the same as last year, $13/lb. There is a 3-pound minimum. I can ship anywhere in the US for $10. To order, just email me privately. Thanks! Best wishes, Nora www.RawTreasure.com www.RawSchool.com
