Hi everyone,

Michael Olson runs a radio/Internet radio show dealing health, ecology, etc.

This topic seems particularly germane and of likely interest to many here,

so I share it in that spirit. If you cannot make the live broadcast, I

believe all Michael's programs remain available for online listening and/or

download for some period of time.

The only and rather obvious problem with the program content, from a

prospective perspective, is that the write-up suggests that the problem

began during the 1940s. In reality, it began decades earlier. Nevertheless,

I suspect the program will be informative to many.

I know that Michael would appreciate your forwarding this to others whom you

believe might be interested.

Best to all,

Elchanan

THE FOOD IN OUR FOOD

A FOOD CHAIN RELEASE FROM METROFARM.COM

A substantial percentage of the minerals, vitamins and protein in our food

crops has simply disappeared over the past 50 years. This leads us to ask.

<http://www.metrofarm.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=2> What happened to the

food in our food? (#623)

This Saturday at 9am Pacific, Michael Olson's Food Chain Radio hosts

Professor Donald R. Davis from the Biochemical Institute at the University

of Texas for a conversation about the declining nutrient content of food

crops.

Listen on your radio, computer or IPOD: <http://www.metrofarm.com/>

www.metrofarm.com.

Topics include how, since the 1940's, we have been aware of the diminishing

mineral, vitamin and protein content of our food crops; the reasons why

there is less food in our foods; and what the future holds if the nutrients

in our food continue to disappear.
