Guest guest
I just wanted to publicly thank Savina Uzunow for coordinating last night's Eastside lecture by Dr. Tel-Oren of Ecopolitan. I had never heard of Dr. Tel-Oren before the talk but I went because it was held within walking distance of my home. I guess my expectations were low because of that but what a delightful surprise it was to listen to this perfectly brilliant speaker deliver such much-needed truths and anti-myths about raw food and health. There was no ego, no pretension, no hype and very little selling. In fact he talked more about the things he gives away for free than the stuff he sells. He urged raw foodists to use their common sense rather than following fads and gurus, and used his observations of nature to support his contentions, which were based in science as well. It is encouraging beyond words to know that there are people like Dr. T. out there, quietly working to spread the truth. Not since I heard Loren Lockman speak here 5 years ago have I been so impressed with any lecturer. Wow! I encourage everyone to attend if we're ever lucky enough to have him back. Thanks again, Savina. Good work!! Best regards, Nora
