Guest guest
OK, I'll explain that, I'd tried to post a couple of times using the Rich- Text editor and the posts wouldn't go through, so I tried the test using the regular one. Now on to the post I was trying to send......... :-) I'm new to the list and fairly new to Raw (about 7 weeks now) and am looking forward to interacting to other raw foodists. My question is this: Does anyone know how long raw bread and butter pickles stay good in the fridge? The book I got the recipe from didn't say and I'd rather not poison myself :-) (I used vinegar, honey, salt, coriander and enough water to finish filling the jar) Thanks, Lorri
Guest guest
Hi Lorri, I cant say for sure , In fresh prosessed food I use the 3-4 day rule, less if it is poreus. However adding vinigar I would think a lot longer. Even honey probably has preserving properties. hopefully someone else here has some definative answers for you.
