Guest guest
It really doesn't matter what anybody teaches. I didn't state that juicing supersedes eating whole food, just that both are needed for optimal health! I would NOT bother with the hassle of juicing if it didn't have major benefits! By juicing most of the goodness produce has is concentrated. Humans can not improve on Yahweh! However, we have to realize that the world we live is not the same as what Yahweh intended. For instance most people don't eat organic produce ripe & freshly picked off the tree or out of the garden. Juicing is the best way dietary way to improve health! Juicing is essential for optimal health and also for people who have digestive/health challenges! Juice (as does anything consumed even water) still needs salivation. You have by accident or on purpose mistated what I stated several times. Please read what I state and quote me accurately in the future. I hope to meet you in the future, I bet you don't look healthier than me! But the notion that juicing supersedes eating whole foods really is nonsense. The notion that removing nearly 100% of the fiber, as opposed to literally 100%, matters not. Once you fractionate the food, it loses much value. Now, to be sure, eating a liquid diet of juiced fruits and/or vegetables is still superior, far superior, to eating what most people eat. But the notion that you can improve upon Nature's design in this way is just not so. Juicing is not " positively altering food " , it is merely altering food. To believe otherwise is to say that you have improved upon Nature's design by pulverizing the food and discarding a large portion of it. Further, juicing is not essential. Nothing _in particular_ is essential. No form of eating reduces nonfood-induced stress. Only dealing with the cause(s) of the stress addresses the stress. There are no magic bullets. And your notion of eating more is also not true, not at all, in fact. Those of us who live (almost) entirely on fruits and greens consume more fruits than most people can imagine, juicers included. But we consume these as whole foods, we chew our foods and benefit greatly from doing so, we digest at the speed we are designed to digest and not at the sped at which water flows, and so forth. Guest guest
Hi Jim, You seem so sure of yourself. Juicing is " essential for optimal health, " " best dietary way for optimum health. " You don't sell juicers by chance, do you? :-) Believe me, I've drunk a lot of juice. I have owned several juicers. One of them I paid $1,900 for! But I no longer believe that juicing is necessary for good health. The study of Natural Hygiene has helped me with this, but also just plain common sense. I kept looking at all that food I was throwing away. And I wondered if my $1900 juicer and I were really smarter than Mother Nature. Maybe there is a REASON for all that fiber. Maybe we aren't supposed to get a concentrated dose of nutrients in the form of fiberless juice. Maybe we aren't supposed to drink some kind of dehydrated powder to make up for the times we fail to drink our fiberless juice. Maybe people with digestive problems can learn to eat the whole food, by paying close attention to food combining and a few other basics. Maybe if we want more nutrients we should exercise a little more. Then we can eat more nutrient-rich food without gaining unwanted weight. Just a few maybes to consider.
