Guest guest
Just thought I would pass this information on . *I read a long time ago that black pepper was not good for digestion. I do not use it because of this but I do like it. but I was curious.? *I researched the question last night " what is the difference between Black pepper and White pepper and would white pepper be better?. " Here is what I found: **Black pepper is picked 'Unripe' then dried with the outer fruit still on. White pepper is picked 'Ripe' then dried and the fruit drops or gets rubbed off so the white seed is exposed. black pepper ferments and mold is presant in the dried fruit . www.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_pepper (I had another link but I wrot it down wrong) oh well. *So now a question that I have is " does white pepper make you sneeze like black pepper has been known to ? and Do we sneeze because of the mold and not the pepper itself? makes sence to me. I certainly dont sneeze when I eat other spicy peppers/foods. Just my musings, Catherine
Guest guest
Hi there, According to Ayur-veda black pepper invigorates the digestive fire. Also Mike Adams the Health Ranger says (I heard this when he was just recently interviewed for Kevin Gianni's RAWkathon) black pepper is one of the foods, and others in combination that creates an environment that cancer cannot live in. For those who want the complete list of the other foods mentioned in this anti cancer combination, this is according to the Health Ranger... all berries, turmeric, cacao, 1 oz. of broccoli juice a day, green tea, vitamin D, zinc, onions, garlic and all cruciferous vegs...along with Black pepper. This list intuitively sounds good to me. Mike has also sent this recent article from his Natural news email. " Substance in Black Pepper Increases Nutrient Absorption up to Two Thousand Percent " http://www.naturalnews.com/024829.html I hope this helps you find out what is best for you. Happy adventures in the quest for your health and wholeness to everyone! ~Jason
Guest guest
White pepper always seems hotter to me ? Could that be because it is just in inner part ? But as far as Natural Hygiene is concerned NO pepper is better and most of those things on Mike Adams list follow suite.
