Guest guest
You are SO right! Diet is vital, but there is so much MORE to great health than diet! Read " Healed Of Cancer " by Dodie Osteen. She had no treatment and made no diet changes. Sent home to die with a few weeks to live with stage 4 liver cancer. Almost 27 years later she is still alive & well! No matter how dire the situation, a person still can recover! People need to know that there will be a consequence for their action. " Providing an out " for people will NOT encourage them to live a healthy lifestyle! Not a religious issue for me, simply a matter of life and death. CHOOSE to keep HOPE alive! On Behalf Of Therese Holliday Friday, October 31, 2008 7:44 AM Life/Cheryl-Shari It seems we are talking about lifestyles and not the person as a whole. One can have a very healthy lifestyle and emotionally eat themselves alive. My mother was raped when she was 14. She never got over it, speaking of the torment until the week she passed. I remember her stating she wanted to die when she was in her 40's ongoing through the week she passed at 75. I'm not saying she had a healthy lifestyle, what I am saying is that the emotions and attitudes play a huge role in whether you live long, are healthy, etc. As an energy worker I feel this in the souls I help and I share positive aspects of life and that I am thankful they are part of mine. I realize that this measure is heavily backed by the insurance agencies as a way to cut costs. Despite that, I am for choice in this issue, whether or not I CHOOSE to use it. There are many people out there who CHOOSE to live unhealthful lives who will never listen to what we share nor believe food can cure. They deserve the right to escape the horrible circumstances at the end of their lives as well. I watched Mom die. I saw the pain from bone and breast cancer in her eyes. I saw the pain from loss of body control due to the brain tumor. I saw the fear of the increase of PAIN as she did not want to medicate. We had to go against that for her because she couldn't handle the pain. She would have chosen to go sooner if she had the CHOICE. While this may also be a religious issue for some, please remember that not everyone abides by the same religious views and that laws must address the needs of all of the public. I am pro life, but I am also in favor of beings in control of their own lives and destiny. I want that choice should the end be something I am unable to handle.
