Guest guest
Andrea Technincally oat groats won't sprout because their husk has been removed, however here is what I do with them. I soak about 1/2cup the night before. I also soak a handful of raisins in a separate container. the next morning I rinse the groats and put in a blender with the raisins and the water that was with the raisins. I like to add a banana for extra sweetness. I also had salt, nutmeg and cinnamon and blend all the ingredients. You may want to add more water. If you blend the mixture in the blender for a while it will become warm. I serve with strawberries, blueberries or raspberries even cut up apple works when berries are not in season.. -- Love and Light In-Joy Ramona -------------- Original message ---------------------- Andrea Olson <wholebodyharmony > I bought some Oat groats and would like to know how to sprout them and then turn > them into the poridge that Chaco Canyon sells. > Can anyone help? > Thanks > Andrea > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >
