Guest guest
I wrote this to the coconut group and thought you all might enjoy it, too. Really, all you need do to exfoliate your whole body is get a great loofa or something similar (there are towels made for exfoliation, though some may be processed material; that isn't really important unless you think it is) and SCRUB your face with your coconut soap or whatever. Double scrub your body until you get all the dead skin peeling off in rolls. In Korea where I'm living body exfoliation is a regular thing with the whole population and in addition to feeling fantastic, it allows the skin to breath better because, guess what, there now is no dead layer or two on top! Do it every day or every other or every couple. Better yet, get your partner to do it for you while you lay down; at that point, do it dry. Amazing. If you really think you need some sort of product to exfoliate your face (why? expensive; tens upon tens of stuff from which to choose) just make your own. I suggest looking it up on the internet cites which sell ingredients to make your own soaps, make-up, body products. There are many cites. Choose what natural products you'd like an make it your self. Right now, I could do so with stuff from my own pantry: one half tablespoon ea. cocoa butter, coconut butter and/or oil, drops of essential oils like whatever turns you on and there may be some which are indicated for the face, half teaspoon ea. of ground (coarse-use a mortar and pestle or flash grind in the coffee grinder-either of which are kitchen essentials when dealing with seeds-try adding a teaspoon of cardamom to your next grinder batch of coffee beans and prepare to be stunned, or add fresh cocoa nibs to make your own mocha) seed of whatever kind you like; one batch use fennel, dill and celery seed; the next, use coriander, fenugreek, and cardamom or use them singly. Many products have you know peach pits and stuff like that, but I don't know how to get those things. If you use those fruits with pits, try dehydrating them after splitting them then grind in your vitamix.) I've never done this, but were I do to so, this is what I'd do. Experiment. Add cinnamon or nutmeg for smell as well. Try different combos that you like. If you don't like what you've made, add it to your next breakfast meal and it's gone ready for you to try a new recipe. Sounds fun, too. ______________
