OT: Interesting cooked vegan-friendly restaurant suggestions?

Hi All,

Since this is OT, please reply privately. Thanks!

I am looking for a restaurant to take my dad to for fun. He's

an " eclectic " eater and likes new experiences. He loved the old Chaco

(still likes the new one, but it doesn't remind him of his hippie days

quite as much). I wanted to take him to that vegan breakfast/lunch

place on Capitol Hill (maybe around 14th or so? can't remember the

name.) but I think it's gone. Has anyone been to the Wayward Cafe in

the U Dist./Roosevelt area? Comments? My Sweet Lord's is closed,

right? (I'm looking at a vegetarian restaurant list.)

I'm just looking for anything a little interesting (in food and/or

general ambiance) for my suburbanite dad.

Like I said, it's OT, but I thought you guys might be able to help.
