Guest guest
Thanks for the link Mark. There are so many ads loading so fast on the site with Dr. Graham's comments, that with a slow dialup link it took about 10 minutes to get some text to display on that page, and I had to retry several times because the page stalled. Likely others are having the same problem. I spoke with the head chef at his retreat, however, and he said that they serve 70% of calories from fat, on average. Something is amiss. IF you read GC's books, you will easily see what the problem is. Without fat, there are almost no calories in the Cousen's approach. This might work well for short term healing in an acute condition, or even a chronic one, but it is not an approach that one can use long term, without turning to fat as fuel. On another side, Dr. Cousens readily admits that the food on his program is nutritionally lacking. He does so by recommending massive quantities of nutritional supplements to ALL of his followers. I hope you can see the dangers in both of these situations. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * May your day be filled with clarity, grace, strength, progress, and warm laughter, Roger - " mkhov " <hovila Wednesday, September 10, 2008 11:50 PM RE: Preventing and Reversing Heart Disease > Judy, > After a bit of searching, I found Dr. Graham's comment about fat and Dr. > Cousens on his forum, posted about a month ago: > http://www.vegsource.com/talk/raw/messages/99964352.html > Mark
