Guest guest
Mia, Your email got me to wondering about my sense of humor, and the lack of it regarding health practices. Why do I seem so particularly ready to hit the lightning bolt button about issues related to health? I have usually found something admirable in statues of the Laughing Buddha, and they are often in stores selling Buddhist stuff. While I was mulling over your email, I googled the Laughing Buddha a bit. I suddenly realized that so many people are so serious about reaching that state of well-being the Laughing Buddha represents and seem to have it backwards - you don't reach that level of well-being and then start laughing, it is having the sense of humor to laugh about misfortune that helps lead you to the well-being in the first place. Possibly being more ready to laugh about my misadventures in seeking health will actually put me on the path to health, at the least I would be less stressed about it Thank you for encouraging a bit of growth in my understanding. May your day be filled with clarity, grace, strength, progress, and warm laughter, Roger - " Mia " <mia Monday, August 18, 2008 1:22 PM colon cleansing experiences
