I want to cool down. I’m thinking — cool watery fruits and vegetables in delicious salads and dips, along with chilled soups and berry smoothies, and large glasses of water spiked with lemon or lime. I’m not thinking of hot soups, heavy foods or baked anything. For me, this intuitive approach to summer eating offers a wealth of health benefits. I’m also speaking about raw food, which is also referred to as live plant food, sun food or living foods. Raw food is simply organic food that hasn’t been cooked, at least not in the traditional sense.
