GO NATURAL: Food in the raw can be both cool and tasty

While some of us may not want to give up on all cooked foods, adding

some live food to your diet may be just the summer ticket for gaining

vibrant health.

It’s hot outside, so I am eating less cooked food. I want to cool down.

 

I’m thinking — cool watery fruits and vegetables in delicious

salads and dips, along with chilled soups and berry smoothies, and

large glasses of water spiked with lemon or lime. I’m not thinking of

hot soups, heavy foods or baked anything.

 

For me, this intuitive approach to summer eating offers a wealth

of health benefits.

 

I’m also speaking about raw food, which is also referred to as

live plant food, sun food or living foods.

 

Raw food is simply organic food that hasn’t been cooked, at least

not in the traditional sense. It is a plant-based vegan diet that adds

a powerhouse of beneficial live plant foods to your food choices.
