Guest guest
Just a reminder about the potluck tonight Monika's House 802 NE 62nd Street, Seattle 6:00 p.m. start Details: Raw Network of Washington is excited to welcome the arrival of Chef Schall Adams (www.thehealingmeal.com/bio.html) to Seattle this month! Schall is a graduate of the distinguished Living Light Culinary Arts Institute with an Associate Chef and Instructor Certification, and has also studied with " The Raw Food Doctors " through Living Light. Schall is excited about the contribution she will make to Washington State's raw foods community. Schall enjoys the teaching aspect of her chosen career and has taught classes all over the country. She is able to teach both nutrition principles and culinary skills to offer clients a way to implement what they are learning. Schall's mission is to introduce raw foods to the mainstream public and believes that by encouraging more people to include raw foods in their diet we will create massive changes in how our food is managed, and ultimately how we manage our health. Schall has been featured in Nevada Home Magazine, The Reno Gazette Journal, Healthy Beginnings Magazine, Reno Magazine, Channel 8 Morning News, and is currently in a book project with photographer and artist Meredith Mall. Schall's previous position as the Student Success for a technical business college gives her a unique perspective on how to teach and empower others in lifestyle changes. She has a passion for personal development and teaches personal responsibility as the first key to happiness. Living a young and healthy lifestyle at 49 she encourages all of her clients to create the life that they choose to live. Schall looks forward to meeting many of you in the next couple of months. Please join us in welcoming Schall to Seattle at the potluck! Event Description: Each person attending should plan to bring one prepared, raw, organic (preferred) large item of your choosing (entrees, appetizer, salads, beverages, and desserts are all great for a dinner-time potluck) to share. Please use proper hygiene and sanitization practices when preparing food for a large group of people. Also, please be sure to bring your own plates and silverware so that we can be friendly with the environment and minimize waste.
