Guest guest
Good morning, Last week I cycled from Pittsburgh, PA to Washington, DC for the National Bicycle Greenway. I covered 500 miles in 6 days on rail trails and canal towpath through some of the most beautiful and pristene wilderness on the East coast - including 185 miles along the Potomac River. I do this ride annually, and it's a real treat/retreat because I'm able to stay raw the whole time - without the temptations of cooked/processed foods. Even with a pretty quick riding pace (~80mi/day) I still had the time and energy to visit with the fascinating people I met, enjoy the scenery and visit the museums and historical sites along the way. I credit raw foods with giving me the energy to make it such a rich experience in every way. Wishing you all similarly inspiring journeys.
