Anyone on the Eastside want to share the cost of a Durian?

Uwajimaya's in Bellevue has some " fresh, non previously-frozen from

Thailand " selling for $7/lb (was $9 a week ago). I weighed the

smallest in their bin and it was 6 lbs - that's $36 !!! A bit

expensive, but as I've never eaten one, I'm curious about the flavor.

I would invest in a partial one just to taste it, however, if any

others would like to split one with me. I think they're almost ripe.

Send me an email if you're interested.

OOOps - my bad math! <g> 6 lbs * $7 = $42. So it's really more

expensive.
