Summer has arrived and along with it comes great news for our community.

I am excited and proud to announce that my business partner (Janine

Henkel) and I have secured a location for Seattle's first

brick-and-mortar raw food store and cafe, which will be named Thrive!

Thrive will be located at 1026 NE 65th Street, in the heart of the

Roosevelt neighborhood (across the street from the Whole Foods at

Roosevelt Square), in the lower-level of a mixed-use building called

Dwell. Thrive is tentatively scheduled to open its doors mid-August,

pending construction and buildout of the physical space, which will

begin in one to two weeks.

 

Thrive's mission is to nourish the mind, body, and soul by providing a

comprehensive array of high-quality products and services that support

the eating of raw, fresh, organic foods. We are committed that our

business environment, products, and services be opportunities for our

employees, customers, and the community we serve to awaken to the

fullest expression of what it is to thrive, and to the complete health,

fulfillment, and satisfaction of our community. Our vision is to be the

largest distributor of raw and living food products in the Pacific

-books and other media items (e.g. CDs, DVDs) on whole and raw food

nutrition

In the same location, Thrive will offer:

-Fresh, organic fruit and vegetable juices

lunch, and dinner
