Hi Kevin,

I see that you've received a stock reply from several people, taken from

Doug Graham's Web site, and at least one more in-depth reply from Bob

Farrell, co-founder of the PathOfHealth discussion group.

When Doug Graham released his book, The 80/10/10 Diet, I conducted a

90-minute teleconference interviewing him in considerable depth. The Path of

Health Community offers the audio recording of this program at no cost to

anyone interested. If you wish, feel free to download it at

http://snipurl.com/80_10_10_diet

After you listen to this, please feel free to write back with any questions

you wish. I have written much on this topic, and I am happy to share some of

those writings with you and others here ... after you listen to this

program. Enjoy!!!

Best,

Elchanan

Would someone explain, without me having to pay, exactly what this diet

combinaiton is?

Hi Kevin,

I believe it is a diet of 80% carbohydrates, 10% protein, and 10% fat. That

is the combination that Nathan Pritikin put people on to rid their arteries of

the plaque that lead to their heart attacks. Personally, I think from what I

have read that a little more fat wouldn't harm someone who is in good

health. (Of course, it needs to come from unrefined natural sources, such

as avocados, nuts and seeds to be properly used by the body.) I wear

contact lenses and when I take in too much fat, it deposits onto my

contact lenses (through my eye fluids) and they don't last as long.
